Financial education resources

Tools: ChatGPT, Claude, DALL-E, Figma, Webflow

As the sole marketer and content creator at Exhale, I've had to get pretty creative when it comes to managing my workload. I could spend half a day developing a blog post about how to build credit, but when there's user research to conduct and new features to test, the blog post shouldn't be taking up too much of my time.

My stance on generative AI is that it's a powerful tool that should be used thoughtfully and with intention (also, it's extremely helpful when it comes to SEO marketing). Here’s a sample workflow I follow while writing for Exhale’s financial resources hub:

  1. 🤖 Ask ChatGPT to brainstorm angles for a blog post using a chosen topic and audience
  2. 👩🏻 Write a brief outline using one of the generated angles
  3. 🤖 Prompt both ChatGPT and Claude to produce a 500-600-word blog post using my outline
  4. 👩🏻 Create a working first draft using the best content from both outputs
  5. 👩🏻 Refine the draft, aligning it with our brand voice and performing thorough fact-checking
  6. 🤖 Run the second draft through ChatGPT for proofreading and SEO suggestions
  7. 👩🏻 Incorporate final edits
  8. 👩🏻🤖 Design a final graphic in Figma, occasionally using DALL-E, and publish the post

The article on this page, developed in just over an hour, is a product of this process. While I don't think generative AI can replace human creativity, I've found that it's a valuable tool when working on a fast-moving team, and should always be used with a healthy dose of supervision.
